Travel and Delivery Scam Help

Scam About a Parcel, a Flight or a Booking? Check the Official Contacts

Scammers pose as couriers, airlines, hotels and visa offices. Here is what 53 companies and 12 governments officially publish: real phone numbers (and which companies publish none), the domains they use, what they say they will never do, and how to report a scam to them and to the regulator.

A phone number from a search ad, social post or text message is often a scammer’s. Fake airline and courier “customer service” lines and copycat e-visa websites are among the most common travel scams. Every contact here was read on the company’s or government’s own site, and we say where none is published.

Couriers and postal services

"Missed delivery", "customs fee" and "redelivery" texts and emails.

Airlines

Fake airline customer-service numbers, refund and booking scams.

Booking sites, hotels, car rental and rides

Fake listings, fake payment links and fake support numbers.

Government e-visa and travel authorisation websites

Copycat sites charge extra fees for what the government site does. Check the address against the official domain.

Not listed because we could not confirm the official details: Cambodia, Turkey, Egypt, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia. Use only the website your government or embassy links to.
