Singapore Airlines: Official Contacts and How to Report a Scam
Fake airline support numbers on search ads and social media take real money. Here is what Singapore Airlines officially publishes: contact numbers, the domains it uses, its own scam warnings, refund rules and the regulator to complain to.
Do this first
- Do not call a number from a search ad, social post or message. Use the numbers below or the help section of the official Singapore Airlines app or website.
- No airline needs you to pay with gift cards, move money to a "safe" account or install remote-access software. If someone asks, hang up.
- If you paid by card or bank transfer, call your bank's fraud line now.
- Keep your booking reference and any messages, then report using the routes below.

What Singapore Airlines says about scams: SIA warns of fake hotline numbers posted online (Google Maps, wiki pages, forums); customers should use only the hotline numbers on the official contact-us page. Impersonators use fake emails such as [email protected] and [email protected], ask for personal, flight or card details, run fake job offers (real jobs are only on SIA's Careers portal and LinkedIn), and can spoof caller IDs to look like SIA numbers. SIA registered its SMS Sender IDs with Singapore's SMS Sender ID Registry so +65 users can tell genuine SIA texts. Page updated 21 July 2026.
Report a scam or fraud: Verify a call/text/email/social account or report a fake SIA website via SIA's form at singaporeair.com/get-help/others, and lodge a police report. Page also points to scamalert.sg/ for Singapore scam information.
Cancellations and refunds: Tickets bought directly from SIA can be cancelled online for a refund on refundable fares; non-refundable tickets get only refundable taxes back, to the original card. US-linked bookings made a week or more before departure can be cancelled without penalty within 24 hours. (source)
- Hotline numbers on Google Maps, wiki pages and forums may be fake; use only the numbers on SIA's official contact-us page.
- Callers can spoof caller ID to look like official SIA numbers.
- Genuine SIA texts to +65 numbers come from registered SenderIDs; unauthorised senders are marked 'Likely-SCAM'.
