Kayak: Official Contacts and How to Report a Scam

Fake listings, fake payment links and fake support numbers target Kayak customers. Here is what Kayak officially publishes: contacts, the domains it uses, its scam warnings and how to report a problem.

Do this first

  1. Keep all payment and messages inside the official Kayak website or app. Be wary of anyone asking you to pay or chat elsewhere.
  2. Do not call a number from a search ad or a message. Use the numbers and pages below.
  3. If you paid by card, bank transfer or gift card, call your bank's fraud line now.
  4. Report the listing or message with the routes below, then use the regulator if the company won't help.

Kayak in United States

kayak.com

Kayak publishes no customer-care phone number here. Any number claiming to be Kayak support (on Google, social media or a call you received) is a scam. Use the official app or help page below.

Official domains Kayak lists: kayak.com, kayak.co.uk, kayak.fr. A link or email address on any other domain is not from Kayak.

What Kayak says about scams: KAYAK says it is a travel search engine, not a travel agent: it never takes direct bookings or payments and will never call, email or message via WhatsApp, Instagram or LinkedIn to complete your booking or request payment. Pages such as 'kayakonline', 'kayakworking' or 'kayakagent' are not affiliated. (The article, dated Dec 2023, is mainly about fake job offers.)

Report a scam or fraud: Report suspicious activity directly to KAYAK via the form on the KAYAK support page (kayak.com/support); report to your bank and to USAGov (usa.gov/where-report-scams).

  • KAYAK never takes bookings or payments and will never call, email or WhatsApp you to complete a booking or ask for payment.
  • KAYAK provides customer service through its feedback form and chat instead of a general email address or phone number.
  • Always book with the airline/hotel/agent KAYAK links to; KAYAK is not the seller.
