Uber: Official Contacts and How to Report a Scam

Here is what Uber officially publishes for 2 markets: how to reach support, the domains it uses, its scam warnings and how to report a problem.

Do this first

  1. Use the in-app help in the official Uber app. Do not call numbers from search ads or messages.
  2. Check any link or email against the official domains below.
  3. If you paid or shared card details, call your bank's fraud line now.
  4. Report using the routes below, then use the regulator if the company won't help.

Uber (worldwide)

uber.com

Official domains Uber lists: www.uber.com, login.uber.com, help.uber.com, auth.uber.com. A link or email address on any other domain is not from Uber.

What Uber says about scams: Uber Help explains phishing via unsolicited emails/SMS leading to fake login pages, says Uber employees will never contact you by email or phone requesting your account information including password or email address, and tells you not to click links that do not go to uber.com.

Report a scam or fraud: Contact Uber through Help in the app or help.uber.com; do not respond to the suspicious message. Uber's 2019 blog 'How to spot scammers' (uber.com/us/en/blog/identifying-scammers) says to end the call and contact Uber via the Driver app or help.uber.com.

  • Uber will never call, text or email you to request your password, verification code or banking details.
  • Never add someone else's credit or debit card to your account.
  • Only enter your login on uber.com, login.uber.com, help.uber.com or auth.uber.com.

Uber in United States

uber.com

Official domains Uber lists: www.uber.com, login.uber.com, help.uber.com, auth.uber.com. A link or email address on any other domain is not from Uber.

What Uber says about scams: Same rider help article: Uber employees will never contact you by email or phone asking for account info; check the URL shows uber.com.

Report a scam or fraud: Riders: choose Help in the app or log in at help.uber.com for personalised support.

  • The US contact page lists in-app Help for riders; the only phone number shown is a merchants/restaurants line (833-275-3287), not a rider line.

Checked on Uber’s own pages on 30 October 2026. Support routes change, so if something has moved, use the help section in the official app or website and tell us. See every company in Travel and Delivery Scam Help, and report the crime to the police via the cyber agencies directory.
