Lyft: Official Contacts and How to Report a Scam

Here is what Lyft officially publishes: how to reach support, the domains it uses, its scam warnings and how to report a problem.

Do this first

  1. Use the in-app help in the official Lyft app. Do not call numbers from search ads or messages.
  2. Check any link or email against the official domains below.
  3. If you paid or shared card details, call your bank's fraud line now.
  4. Report using the routes below, then use the regulator if the company won't help.

Lyft in United States

lyft.com

Official domains Lyft lists: lyft.com, lyft-new.zendesk.com, marketing.lyftmail.com, business.lyftmail.com, lyftmail.com, points-mail.com. A link or email address on any other domain is not from Lyft.

What Lyft says about scams: Lyft says it won't contact you by phone, text or email asking for personal info (phone number, verification code, driver licence, card number, bank info) unless you reach out first, and that no Lyft employee will ask for personal info unless you reach out. It lists the only email domains Lyft uses and says to hang up on suspicious calls and not to open links in suspicious texts or emails.

Report a scam or fraud: Tap 'Contact Support' in the Lyft app/help article to report suspicious contact; the Lyft Security page says to reach the Support team to report fraudulent activity on your account (lyft.com/security).

  • Lyft won't contact you by phone, text or email for personal info unless you contacted Lyft first.
  • Hang up on suspicious calls; do not open links in suspicious texts or emails.
  • Verify your email in the app Settings tab to help ensure trusted communications.

Checked on Lyft’s own pages on 30 October 2026. Support routes change, so if something has moved, use the help section in the official app or website and tell us. See every company in Travel and Delivery Scam Help, and report the crime to the police via the cyber agencies directory.
