Bank Leumi Fraud: How to Report It and Stop the Money
If money left your Bank Leumi account without your permission, or you paid a scammer, contact Bank Leumi straight away and ask it to block the payment and your card. The first minutes matter most.
Do this first
- Call Bank Leumi’s official line below, or use help inside the official Bank Leumi app. Never use a number from a text, a caller or a search result.
- Give them the transaction details (amount, time, and the account or number you paid) and ask them to block your card and stop or recall the payment.
- Change your online banking password and PIN if anyone may know them. Bank Leumi will never ask for your PIN, password or a one-time code.
- Report it to the police too: see who handles cybercrime in Israel, and keep screenshots of every message and payment.

If Bank Leumi won’t help
Your bank's Public Inquiries Commissioner
A second-level complaint inside your bank when its normal service has not solved the problem. Leumi 076-885-7011, Hapoalim 03-567-3697, Discount 076-805-6566, Mizrahi-Tefahot 076-817-0017.
Contact the bank's regular service first. The Commissioner handles complaints, not account actions such as blocking a card. If you disagree with the decision, you can appeal to the Bank of Israel.
