Bit Fraud: How to Report It and Stop the Money

If you sent money to a scammer through Bit, or money left your Bit account without your permission, contact Bit straight away and ask them to block the receiving account. Wallet money moves fast, so the first minutes matter most.

Do this first

  1. Call Bit’s official line below, or use help inside the official Bit app. Never use a number from a text, a caller or a search result.
  2. Give them the transaction ID, the amount, the time and the number or account you paid, and ask them to block it.
  3. Change your PIN and password if anyone may know them. Bit will never ask for your PIN or a one-time code.
  4. Report it to the police too: see who handles cybercrime in Israel, and keep screenshots of every message and payment.

If Bit won’t help

Your bank's Public Inquiries Commissioner

A second-level complaint inside your bank when its normal service has not solved the problem. Leumi 076-885-7011, Hapoalim 03-567-3697, Discount 076-805-6566, Mizrahi-Tefahot 076-817-0017.

Contact the bank's regular service first. The Commissioner handles complaints, not account actions such as blocking a card. If you disagree with the decision, you can appeal to the Bank of Israel.
