How Police Request Data from Zerodha
Zerodha does not publish a dedicated law-enforcement contact. Below is what its own pages say about legal process, and where an officer can start.
Ministry of Cyber Affairs is not Zerodha and cannot create or reset portal accounts, pass on requests or release data. Contact Zerodha directly. Is this your company? Request a correction.
No police contact published
We checked Zerodha’s official legal, privacy and help pages on 17 October 2026 and found no address, portal or email for law-enforcement requests. The closest official channel it publishes: No law-enforcement or legal-notice email, portal or nodal-officer page is published on any Zerodha page read. Registered address as printed in the site footer: Zerodha Broking Limited, #153/154, 4th Cross, Dollars Colony, Opp. Clarence Public School, J.P Nagar 4th Phase, Bengaluru - 560078, Karnataka; the escalation matrix on zerodha.com/contact lists the Head of Compliance at this address (10AM - 5PM). The footer gives [email protected] for complaints about securities broking and [email protected] for depository matters; these are customer complaint mailboxes, not a stated route for police requests. Zerodha Commodities Private Limited lists its own Head of Compliance on the same page.
What Zerodha says about legal process
- Legal process. Zerodha's support article on frozen demat accounts says CDSL freezes accounts on directions from authorities including CBI/Police orders, CID, SFIO, ED and ACB, that Zerodha cannot unfreeze them, and that the holder must contact CDSL. It publishes no intake process for investigators.
- Requests from other countries. Not stated on any page read.
