What Worldpay says about legal process

  • Legal process. Worldpay provides client information to law enforcement or other public authorities only when it reasonably believes it is legally required, after legal review. Officials must provide legal process appropriate for the type of information sought (subpoena, court order or warrant); non-public client data requires a valid search warrant issued on probable cause by a court authorised to issue them. Worldpay objects to overbroad requests and those insufficient under the ECPA or other applicable law.
