Police and government officials send lawful requests to Twitch through its law-enforcement portal. The details below are taken from Twitch's own published guidelines.

Ministry of Cyber Affairs is not Twitch and cannot create or reset portal accounts, pass on requests or release data. Contact Twitch directly. Is this your company? Request a correction.

What Twitch says about legal process

  • Legal process. Requests must use the appropriate level of legal process properly served via ALERT, identifying the Twitch username, the information sought and its relationship to the investigation.
  • Requests from other countries. User information is located in the US and Twitch's Legal Department requires proper legal service; MLAT countries should use the MLAT framework via the US Department of Justice Office of International Affairs.
