What Remitly says about legal process

  • Legal process. Email a signed PDF of the legal request (subpoena, court order, search warrant, preservation request) from a federal, state or local agency or civil court, with a government email address for returning records and sender/recipient identifiers (name, DOB, phone, email, transfer ID); add a Right to Financial Privacy Act certification for US federal requests and name the correct Remitly entity. Remitly has limited information about recipients because partner institutions deliver payouts. Fax is not accepted.
  • Requests from other countries. Name the entity for your region (Australia, Canada, EU, New Zealand, Singapore, UAE, UK or US); hard copies for locations other than US/Canada go to the Cork, Ireland address.
  • Preservation. Article is titled for subpoenas, court orders, search warrants and preservation requests, but gives no separate preservation procedure or retention period.
