What PhonePe says about legal process
- Legal process. Submit through the portal with a notice under the applicable provision of law, on department letterhead, stamped and signed by the issuing officer, in PDF; at most 10 transactions per notice; account blocking only on a signed and stamped statutory notice. A portal submission needs no separate physical copy.
- Requests from other countries. The guidelines apply only to agencies within India and do not apply to requests from law enforcement outside India.
