How Police Request Data from Nintendo

Nintendo does not publish a dedicated law-enforcement contact. Below is what its own pages say about legal process, and where an officer can start.

Ministry of Cyber Affairs is not Nintendo and cannot create or reset portal accounts, pass on requests or release data. Contact Nintendo directly. Is this your company? Request a correction.

No police contact published

We checked Nintendo’s official legal, privacy and help pages on 17 October 2026 and found no address, portal or email for law-enforcement requests.

  • Nintendo's only police-facing route is for reporting a lost or stolen device through customer service; it is not a legal-process channel.

What Nintendo says about legal process

  • Legal process. Nintendo says it complies with applicable laws and responds to legitimate requests from law enforcement; privacy policy says it may share information to comply with legal process. For lost or stolen consoles, it shares personal information with police only after the loss or theft has been reported to law enforcement.
