How Police Request Data from KuCoin
Police and government officials send lawful requests to KuCoin through its law-enforcement portal or its legal-process email. The details below are taken from KuCoin's own published guidelines.

- The email shown is for KuCoin EU (EEA) customers only. Requests about other customers go through the portal.

Include 'URGENT REQUEST' in the subject line when submitting. Contact: https://www.kucoin.com/legal/requests
What KuCoin says about legal process
- Legal process. An official request in English such as a subpoena, court order, warrant or equivalent, duly signed or sealed, plus proof of the requester's authority.
- Requests from other countries. KuCoin says it will voluntarily cooperate with law enforcement requests from all jurisdictions and asks for the proper Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty documents for cross-border requests.
- Preservation. For freezes the agency should specify the duration; otherwise KuCoin will unfreeze the account within 30 days of the freeze date. No separate preservation process is described.
- Notifying the user. Agencies should say whether a freeze can be disclosed; if not specified, KuCoin will disclose the reason for the freeze to the user.
