What Hostinger says about legal process

  • Legal process. Requests must identify the customer, account, service or domain and Hostinger may ask for proof of the requester's authority or legal basis; policy lists subpoenas, court orders, warrants, European Production and Preservation Orders as request types.
  • Requests from other countries. Section 2 covers EU authority orders (English, Lithuanian or Greek accepted); no separate non-EU procedure stated.
  • Preservation. Policy states Hostinger may preserve relevant information when permitted or required; no stated retention period.
  • Notifying the user. May notify the affected customer where appropriate unless notice is prohibited or could prejudice an investigation; may seek cost reimbursement for unusual or burdensome requests.
