  • Requests go through eBay's law-enforcement site. [email protected] is for questions on how to request records only. eBay's guidance is addressed to North American agencies.

Emergency requests

No separate emergency channel is published; the guide says priority is given only in particular circumstances such as life-threatening issues and only where the urgency is specified in the request, with eBay deciding the urgency level. Contact: Submit via https://le.corp.ebay.com/ with urgency stated; general LE questions to [email protected].

What eBay says about legal process

  • Legal process. Requests must be addressed to eBay Inc. (and/or eBay Commerce, Inc. for financial information), typed on requestor letterhead, signed by an agent or court officer with authority to issue compulsory orders, and identify the subject (User ID, email or item number) and what is sought; listing, feedback and About Me data visible on eBay.com is not provided by the team.
