Emergency requests

For a declared exigent circumstance under your own agency's guidelines, email [email protected] with the word 'exigent' in the subject line, with agency contact details, the target number (XXX-XXX-XXXX), dates sought and whether calls, texts or both. Exigent requests must be in writing; verbal requests are not honoured. Bandwidth is a VoIP provider, so there is no native GPS or cell-site location data. Contact: [email protected]

What Bandwidth says about legal process

  • Legal process. Bandwidth is mainly a wholesale provider, so the wholesale customer of record is usually the right entity to serve; Bandwidth will informally verify target numbers by email and give the wholesale customer's contact details. Formal subpoenas, court orders, warrants or other process are emailed to [email protected] (one process per email) or served at the address above; lawful-intercept (CALEA) orders go to the same mailbox. Non-US agencies email a valid enforceable legal process from a registered government/LE email domain.
  • Requests from other countries. Agencies outside the US and Canada email [email protected] with enforceable legal process, authorized-officer details, the number and the time period; requests must be in writing.
