What Airtel Payments Bank says about legal process

  • Legal process. The bank's Information Privacy Policy says its business functions disclose personal information to government agencies only after verifying that the agency is lawfully authorised to seek it, and that such requests must be obtained in writing clearly stating the purposes and the powers of the agency to seek the information. Its contact page publishes a fraud-reporting route that it says exists so that 'LEA/PG and Peer Banks' can communicate with the bank: [email protected], 18002033330 and a web reporting link. No law-enforcement guidelines or data-request procedure is published.
