Shopee: How to Report a Scam or Fraud

Report a problem or scam: In the app: Me › Chat with Shopee, then describe what happened and give your order number.

Report a seller or listing: In the app: open the seller's shop page or chat › ⋯ › Report this user, choose a reason and add details.

Shopee Guarantee: Shopee holds your payment until you confirm receipt, and you can ask for a refund or return if the item never arrives, is damaged, wrong, fake or the parcel is empty. Only payments made on Shopee are covered. Claim within 15 days of the order showing as delivered.

Fake Shopee messages or sites: Report fake Shopee calls, delivery texts or messages through Chat with Shopee. Genuine Shopee emails end in @shopee.com.

• Shopee Singapore has no customer service phone number: help is only through chat or in-app calls, so any number claiming to be Shopee is fake.
• A known scam cancels your order, then sends a 'ShopeePay QR code' on WhatsApp. Do not pay it.

Report a problem or scam: In the app: Me › Chat with Shopee, or Me › Help Center › Internet Call.

Report a seller or listing: In the app: seller's shop page or chat › ⋯ › Report this user, then pick a reason such as Scam or Counterfeit. Reports are anonymous.

Shopee Guarantee: You can ask for a return or refund if the order does not arrive, is wrong or is damaged. Only tap 'Order Received' once you have checked the item. Claim within 15 days of the delivered date (or the estimated delivery date).

Fake Shopee messages or sites: If someone calls or messages claiming to be Shopee, contact Shopee customer service in the app before doing anything they ask.

• Shopee Malaysia has removed its phone hotline: support is only inside the app, so any number claiming to be Shopee customer service is fake.
• Report any seller who asks you to pay by QR code, e-wallet or bank transfer outside the app.

Report a problem or scam: In the app: Saya › Customer Service, or call the complaint line below.

Report a seller or listing: In the app: open the seller's profile › ⋯ › Laporkan Pengguna ini, then pick the violation.

Pengembalian Barang/Dana (return and refund): Shopee holds the payment while it reviews your claim for an item that did not arrive, is incomplete, empty, wrong or damaged. Keep photos or an unboxing video as evidence. Claim check the deadline in the app: it depends on the shop type (Mall shops allow the longest).

Fake Shopee messages or sites: Shopee's official WhatsApp accounts only send information and do not take complaints. Shopee never asks for your personal data or for a money transfer.

• Fake stores selling oxygen tanks, cooking oil, milk or vitamin drinks ask for your OTP or ShopeePay PIN on WhatsApp. Never share them.

Report a seller or listing: In the app: seller's shop page › ⋮ › Report this user › pick a reason › Submit, or long-press a chat message › Report.

Shopee Guarantee (Returns Window): You can file a return or refund for problems with the item, even after confirming receipt, while the returns window is open. The seller is paid only after you confirm or the confirmation time ends. Claim check the deadline in the app (Shopee Mall orders get the longest window).

Fake Shopee messages or sites: Shopee never uses Gmail or Yahoo addresses, never asks you to pay to claim a prize and never offers part-time jobs on Viber, Telegram or WhatsApp.

• Shopee Philippines has no customer service phone number: help is only through chat or in-app calls, so any number claiming to be Shopee is fake.
• Shopee never asks you to pay through an outside link or send money to a bank or e-wallet account.

Report a problem or scam: In the app: Me › Chat with Shopee, then ask for a live agent.

Report a seller or listing: In the app: report the shop or user, or long-press a chat message › Report, and choose a reason such as scam or fake item.

Shopee Guarantee: You can request a return or refund in the app while the order is within the guarantee period, for example if the item did not arrive, is faulty, wrong or very different from the listing. Claim check the deadline in the app (Shopee Mall: 15 days).

Fake Shopee messages or sites: Report fake Shopee messages or calls through Chat with Shopee. Do not open links in unknown texts or emails that ask for your OTP or login.

• Shopee Thailand has no customer service phone number: help is only through in-app chat, so any number claiming to be Shopee is fake.
• A seller who asks you to tap 'order received' before delivery, or to transfer money directly, is a scam sign.

Report a problem or scam: In the app: Tôi (Me) › Trò chuyện với Shopee (Chat with Shopee). Support is free and open around the clock.

Report a seller or listing: In the app: shop page › Thêm (More) › Tố cáo người dùng này, choose a reason such as scam or fake goods.

Shopee Đảm Bảo (Shopee Guarantee): You can request a return or refund in the app. If the order is not delivered on time, request a refund with the reason 'not received'. Claim within 15 days of the order showing as delivered.

Fake Shopee messages or sites: Calls from Shopee show the caller name SHOPEE or a number ending in 1221. Shopee never asks you to move to Zalo or Facebook. If unsure, check with Chat with Shopee.

• Shopee Vietnam has no phone number for you to call: any number offering Shopee customer service is fake.
• Beware of fake refund or return requests from people posing as sellers or as Shopee.

Report a problem or scam: In the app: 我的 › 聯繫蝦皮客服 for live chat or an in-app call. If you gave money or data to a scammer, call 165 first.

Report a seller or listing: In the app: seller's store page › ⋯ › 匿名檢舉用戶 (anonymous report), add details and evidence, then submit.

蝦皮安心退 (Shopee Easy Return): Shopee handles returns and refunds for all sellers, and you can apply in the app without waiting for the seller. Shopee Mall adds an authenticity guarantee. Claim within the 7-day appraisal period (15 days for Shopee Mall).

Fake Shopee messages or sites: Shopee never asks you to add an unofficial LINE account or enter card details to claim coupons or invoice prizes.

• Shopee Taiwan has no public phone number: its phone support is an in-app call, so any number claiming to be Shopee is fake.
• Scammers can fake the sender address [email protected], so an email from it is not proof it came from Shopee.

Report a problem or scam: In the app: Eu › Central de Ajuda › Atendimento ao Cliente › Chat Shopee.

Report a seller or listing: In the app: chat › ⋯ › Denunciar esse usuário, or the seller's page › more options › Denunciar usuário.

Garantia Shopee: If the seller does not ship on time you are refunded automatically. If the order does not arrive, or is wrong or damaged, you can request a refund or return in the app. Claim within 7 days of receiving the order.

Fake Shopee messages or sites: Shopee never asks you to pay shipping or fees outside the app, never sends prize texts and never offers jobs on WhatsApp.

• Shopee Brazil has no phone number: its voice support is an in-app call, so any number claiming to be Shopee is fake.
• Sent a Pix to a scammer from your Shopee account? Request a refund in the app within 80 days: Pix › Extrato Pix › choose the payment › solicitar um reembolso. A refund is not guaranteed.
