Poshmark: How to Report a Scam or Fraud
Scammed by a seller, charged for an order you didn’t place, or contacted by someone claiming to be Poshmark? Here are the official ways to report it in 2 countries, read on Poshmark’s own help pages, plus the buyer-protection deadline and where to escalate.
Do this first
- Stop all contact and payments. Poshmark will never ask you to pay outside its own checkout, share a one-time code or install a remote-access app.
- Report it inside the official Poshmark app or website (steps below), not through a link or number you were sent.
- Poshmark has no public customer-care phone number. Any number claiming to be Poshmark support is a scam.
- If you paid by card, bank transfer or a payment app, call your bank’s fraud line now: see Bank Fraud Help.
- Watch the buyer-protection deadline below: claims made late are usually refused.

Poshmark in United States

Report a seller or listing: Open a return case as above.
Posh Protect: Covers items that never ship or don't match the listing, such as undisclosed damage, a wrong or missing item, or an item that is not authentic. It does not cover a change of mind, trades or deals made off Poshmark. Claim within 3 days of delivery, before payment is released to the seller.
Fake Poshmark messages or sites: Forward suspicious emails claiming to be from Poshmark to [email protected].

- Once payment is released to the seller 3 days after delivery, the sale is final.
If Poshmark won’t help:
- FTC ReportFraud (1-877-382-4357): Report a fake shop, an order that never arrived or a business that won't refund. Reports help the FTC build cases and spot patterns. To reverse a payment, contact your bank, card issuer or payment app first.
- State consumer protection offices (via USAGov): Find your state attorney general or consumer protection office for a complaint against a business or a scam. Pick your state or territory on the page.
- FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3): Report online fraud and scams to the FBI.

If Poshmark won’t help:
- Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre / Report Cybercrime and Fraud (1-888-495-8501): Report a fake online shop or other fraud, as a victim or witness, even anonymously. The centre records reports and shares them with police; your local police investigate.
- Federal, provincial and territorial consumer affairs offices: Find your province or territory's consumer office, which handles complaints about a business. Contact the business first.
