Meesho: How to Report a Scam or Fraud

Scammed by a seller, charged for an order you didn’t place, or contacted by someone claiming to be Meesho? Here are the official ways to report it in India, read on Meesho’s own help pages, plus the buyer-protection deadline and where to escalate.

Do this first

  1. Stop all contact and payments. Meesho will never ask you to pay outside its own checkout, share a one-time code or install a remote-access app.
  2. Report it inside the official Meesho app or website (steps below), not through a link or number you were sent.
  3. Meesho has no public customer-care phone number. Any number claiming to be Meesho support is a scam.
  4. If you paid by card, bank transfer or a payment app, call your bank’s fraud line now: see Bank Fraud Help.
  5. Watch the buyer-protection deadline below: claims made late are usually refused.

Meesho in India

meesho.com

Report a problem or scam: Use the Help section in the Meesho app for problems with an order.

Meesho returns and refunds: Returns, exchanges or refunds are allowed within the period shown on each product page. Some products only offer a return for wrong or defective items. Claim within the period shown on the product page.

Fake Meesho messages or sites: Meesho warns that fake offers and fraudulent callers impersonate it. Its staff never ask for your password, PIN, CVV or money to release a prize.

  • Meesho’s website lists no customer-care phone number. Contact Meesho only through Help in the app, never through a number found on Google, social media or a call you received.

If Meesho won’t help:

  • Meesho Grievance Officer (Murthy S.N): [email protected]. Write here only if in-app support has not resolved your complaint. Meesho publishes no phone number for this office (source)
  • National Consumer Helpline (NCH) (1915): Register a complaint against an online seller or shopping site; the helpline tries to settle it with the company before court. Toll-free 1915 from 8am to 8pm, or WhatsApp +91 8800001915.
  • National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal: Report online fraud, such as a fake shopping site or a payment scam, to the police.

Checked on Meesho’s own help pages on 5 October 2026. Platforms change their support routes, so if something has moved, use the help section in the official app and tell us. See every platform and country in E-commerce Fraud Help, and report the crime to the police via the cyber agencies directory.
