United Arab Emirates: Cybercrime & Cybersecurity Agencies
In United Arab Emirates, technical cyber incidents go to the national CERT below. We could not confirm a dedicated police cybercrime unit.
National CERT / cybersecurity authority
aeCERT (UAE Computer Emergency Response Team)
Part of: Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA)
Official websiteNotes
- aeCERT confirmed via FIRST.org (its own site had an expired certificate when checked); no federal or Dubai police cybercrime unit could be confirmed on an official page, and FIRST also lists a separate MOI-CERT under the Ministry of Interior.
- The UAE portal lists the Ministry of Interior eCrimes platform (MoI UAE app), Dubai Police eCrime and Abu Dhabi Police Aman, but no named federal police cybercrime unit; moi.gov.ae was unreachable.
