Report an address
Was a wallet address used against you?
If someone asked you to send crypto to an address as part of a scam, you can tell us. Your report helps the next person who checks that address. This does not report the crime to the police and it cannot recover your money. Report the crime to the police first; find where in your country.
How reports are handled
- A person reviews every report before it counts. Nothing is published automatically.
- An address is shown as “reported” only when two different people reported it and we approved both, or when a moderator checked the evidence supplied. One unreviewed report never appears.
- Nothing you write, and no link you give, is ever shown on the site. The checker shows only how many people reported an address and the type of incident they chose.
- We never call an address a scam, and a report does not say who controls it. Reports are graded as unverified leads (C4), or C3 when a moderator checked the evidence.
- We do not store your IP address, only a one-way code used to stop repeat reports. Do not put your name, a recovery phrase or a private key in a report.
- Think a listing about your address is wrong? Use the dispute link in the result or write to us through the contact page, and say which address. We review disputes and remove listings that cannot be supported.
Want to check an address instead? Use the balance checker, or read the Crypto Forensics guides. Dispute a listing.
