Republic Bank Fraud: How to Report It and Stop the Money
If money left your Republic Bank account without your permission, or you paid a scammer, contact Republic Bank straight away and ask it to block the payment and your card. The first minutes matter most.
Do this first
- Call Republic Bank’s official line below, or use help inside the official Republic Bank app. Never use a number from a text, a caller or a search result.
- Give them the transaction details (amount, time, and the account or number you paid) and ask them to block your card and stop or recall the payment.
- Change your online banking password and PIN if anyone may know them. Republic Bank will never ask for your PIN, password or a one-time code.
- Report it to the police too: see who handles cybercrime in Grenada, and keep screenshots of every message and payment.

ECCB Office of Financial Conduct
From 15 October 2026, this new Eastern Caribbean Central Bank office takes complaints from customers of licensed financial institutions in Grenada about unfair treatment, misleading information, fees, accounts or access.
It is free and you do not need a lawyer; complaints can be made online, in writing or in person. Until it publishes its own contact details, the ECCB's general line is (869) 465-2537 and email [email protected].
