- Ex-services and police candidates. Assistant Manager Security (25) is a physical security role, open to retired Junior Commissioned Officers with five years in that rank, paramilitary personnel of equivalent Inspector rank, and police officers. Age band 30 to 45, and a graduate degree plus a computer or IT component is required.
Eligibility, age and relaxation
Every eligibility criterion, meaning age, educational qualification and post qualification work experience, is computed as on 1 August 2026. Certification courses must be valid as on the same date.
Age bands vary by post and grade. As a guide, MMGS II manager posts sit broadly in the 22 to 35 range depending on the role, MMGS III senior manager posts in the 25 to 38 range, and Assistant Manager Security at 30 to 45. Check the exact band for your post code in the notification before applying.
Upper age relaxation follows extant government guidelines, including five years for SC and ST candidates, with further relaxation for OBC, PwBD and ex-servicemen candidates as applicable.
Selection is by online examination followed by an interview. Candidates who qualify in the online examination are called for a personal interview. The bank reserves the right to call only the required number of candidates after shortlisting, so meeting the minimum eligibility does not guarantee a call.
