Tanzania ISP & Telecom Provider Contact Details
The Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority (TCRA) publishes a live, daily-updated register of every licence it has issued. This directory lists the licensees that hold telecom and internet licences on it: network facilities and network services operators (including the mobile carriers, the national fibre and data-centre operators and the submarine cable and satellite landing holders) and application services licensees, which is the class that covers Tanzania's ISPs and mobile money and messaging platforms. The register records each licensee's physical address, P.O. Box, region, and each licence's number and expiry date; it does not publish phone numbers, email addresses or contact persons. This directory reproduces the Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority register as of 17 October 2026: 195 TCRA-licensed operators. Address requests to the registered physical address or P.O. Box and quote the licence number; the large mobile and network operators also keep law-enforcement liaison functions at their head offices. TCRA lists a general contact line (0800008272) on its site, but it is not a law-enforcement desk.

The register held 7,102 active licences across all sectors on 2026-10-17; this directory keeps the 264 licences in the Telecommunications & Internet sector whose category is a network facilities, network services or application services licence (national, regional, district or international; with or without network facilities), a submarine cable landing station or landing right, or a satellite landing right authorisation, merged to one entry per licensee. Omitted: broadcasting, postal and courier, type approvals, numbering and short codes, .tz registrar accreditations, spectrum frequency charge bands, cyber security service licences, radio, aircraft, ship and amateur station licences, VSAT terminals, installers and importers. The register publishes a physical address, a P.O. Box, the licensing region, and for each licence its number, category and expiry date; it does not publish a telephone number, email, website or contact person, so those fields are empty. regulatorRef lists each licence number with the expiry date as published; every licence kept was listed as active when fetched, and the register changes daily.
