HDFC Securities: Fraud or Complaint, How to Report It

If you lost money in a scam that used the name of HDFC Securities, or something went wrong with your HDFC Securities account, report the crime to the police first, then complain to HDFC Securities in writing and keep the reference number.

Do this first

  1. Stop sending money. Never pay a “fee” or “tax” to withdraw, and never share an OTP or PIN.
  2. Use only the official HDFC Securities contacts below, not a number from a message, a group or a search result.
  3. Tell your bank or UPI app straight away, and report the crime: see who handles cybercrime in India.
  4. Keep screenshots, receipts, chats and account numbers. Complain to HDFC Securities in writing and note the complaint number.

SEBI SCORES (SEBI Complaints Redress System)

SEBI's online portal for complaints against listed companies, SEBI-registered intermediaries (such as brokers and investment advisers) and market infrastructure institutions, with complaint tracking and a mobile app.

SEBI says investors should first take the grievance up with the entity concerned, then use SCORES. Register on SCORES (details can be fetched from a KYC Registration Agency), pick the complaint category and the SEBI-regulated entity, and track status. SCORES allows a two-level review: first-level within 15 days of receiving the entity's Action Taken Report, second-level within 15 days of receiving the Designated Body's reply. SCORES states that grievances emailed to SEBI addresses are not attended to; use the portal.

Official website

SMART ODR (online dispute resolution for securities market disputes)

FIU-IND (Financial Intelligence Unit India): virtual digital asset service providers

FIU-IND's circular (15 September 2025, third revision) says virtual digital asset service providers must register with FIU-IND as reporting entities under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. FIU-IND is an administrative FIU and not an investigating or consumer-complaint body.

FIU-IND's complaints guidance says it is not mandated for investigations, directs cybercrime reports to cybercrime.gov.in, and accepts complaints relating to money laundering and terror financing only on its dedicated complaints email (https://fiuindia.gov.in/files/misc/Guidlines_Complaint.html). FIU-IND's home page warns that it does not seek information from individuals and that such letters or queries are fraudulent. No public list of registered providers was found on the FIU-IND site.
